Le 20 juin 2025, la salle de l’American Corner de l’Université de Lomé s’est transformée en un véritable laboratoire d’idées et de transformation personnelle. Soixante jeunes étudiants et entrepreneurs togolais se sont réunis pour une session pas comme les autres, animée par une invitée d’exception : Shelli Brunswick, PDG et fondatrice de SB Global LLC, figure mondiale du secteur spatial.
Venue tout droit des États-Unis, Shelli Brunswick a animé un atelier inspiré de son livre acclamé What’s Space Got To Do With It: 10 Life Lessons for Personal Growth. Forte de ses 35 années d’expérience dans l’industrie aérospatiale et de plus de 200 entretiens avec des leaders d’opinion internationaux, elle a partagé dix leçons puissantes pour développer un leadership transformationnel, fondé sur la résilience, la vision, l’audace et la collaboration.
Cette session s’inscrit dans le cadre de l’Academy des Leaders, un programme gratuit, pratique et intensif de trois mois, porté par Tossah Aimé Oboubé et mis en œuvre par la Global Alumni Association of Togo (GAAT). Plus qu’une formation, c’est une plateforme de transformation pour une nouvelle génération de leaders engagés, connectés aux enjeux du XXIe siècle.
« Nous ne formons pas simplement des jeunes, nous les préparons à devenir des acteurs du changement, des bâtisseurs de vision et d’impact », souligne Tossah Aimé. L’Academy combine développement personnel, compétences numériques et leadership avec un objectif clair : renforcer la jeunesse togolaise et créer des modèles inspirants à l’échelle nationale et au-delà.
La prochaine session est prévue pour le vendredi 4 juillet 2025, avec un focus sur la création d’un profil LinkedIn professionnel efficace.
Les entreprises, organisations, partenaires au développement et mécènes sont invités à soutenir cette initiative à travers des partenariats ou du sponsoring pour en amplifier l’impact.
